After successfully steering the business into the 21st century, my father Terry retired in 2007 and handed the reins over to me. Family is important to us, and our quintessential British business has evolved and grown through challenging times while holding onto our values.

With this in mind, we treat our customers like our second kin. Establishing great relationships with our customers is a crucial part of our company’s longevity and legacy and we are proud to say that we get repeat visits from many of our customers and their families over time.

Founded as Prime Pine Furniture in 1997, Riverside Furniture is a family-run furniture store located in Tiverton, Devon. Taking pride in all our work, we lovingly design and create bespoke furniture for a wide array of clients.

By 2003, to accommodate our growing customer base, we moved into a new, larger workshop by the River Exe in Tiverton. In 2007, we extended into adjacent buildings, meaning we now cover more than 2,000 square feet of showroom space. This has allowed our company to diversify, becoming more sustainable for future generations.
